Finding a role that fits your needs is personal - as your needs + responsibilities evolve, finding the right fit can be challenging. For years I was supporting my peers preparing for interviews, refreshing resumes, developing business plans and setting both immediate and long-term career goals. Supporting my friends and colleagues find their own professional happiness evolved into my full-time passion. I started Align in hopes of helping people secure more than just income; I sincerely want to help people find professional roles that are worth it to them. If your journey is anything like mine, what’s worth it to you can evolve, as the chapters + seasons of your life change. The individuals we support are part of a larger story; we recognize that each paycheck earned not only impacts entire families but ripple effects into our communities. We understand that success + happiness are not silos but are absolutely comprehensive + complex. A little more about my background:
If we chatted about all my experiences and identified the aspects I truly enjoyed (and the aspects that were like pulling teeth), it’s clear that my passion is helping others achieve and surpass their goals. Plain and simple: there’s room for us all to achieve our goals and no need for clouds of negativity. Whatever your careers goals are, big or small, long-term or immediate, I want to help you develop your game-plan for success. My professional experiences start in the non-profit sector, as a certified educator (both inside and outside the classroom). I spent the next few years as an educational technology + learning specialist supporting post-secondary institutions, and then served as Director of Professional Development for a nationally-recognized museum. I spent eight years in the corporate space, as a member of education and technology companies both as sales territory managers and curriculum consultants. My favorite professional experiences have been working with purpose-driven and collaborative individuals / teams that share a solution-focused mindset. I am results-driven, aim for high-quality performance, and believe this can be achieved with a consultative approach. When we work together, you have my commitment to sincere support and investment in your professional planning and success. On a personal note:
Midwest born, West Coast seasoned, + currently East Coast living. After 10 years on the West Coast, my husband + I recently relocated our little family to the East Coast + we’re looking forward to the adventures ahead!
